Bishop Barry's Visit

Bishop Barry Jones of our Christchuch Diocese visited our class on June 29, the last day of Term 2. He spoke to us about how he got the special cross which he always wear as a necklace. He mentioned about his visit to Rome, his talk with Pope Benedict VI and his visit to different churches. We were allowed to ask him questions. One of our questions was what made him decide to be a priest in his younger years. Bishop Barry spoke gently and it was special to listen to what he was saying to us.

We are really pleased to have Bisop Barry in our class. It was our first time ever to have a visit from a Bishop! We will always remember him for spending time with us even for only a short time. Thank you very much, Bishop Barry!
